Comparing SpectrumVoIP?
Start With the Whole Phone Bill
How should I compare a SpectrumVoIP proposal?
VoIP Services Now is the business phone service run by SRS Networks, a Salinas, California company operating since 1996. SpectrumVoIP advertises professional installation, phones and onboarding in its Everything Plan. Ask what your written proposal includes at each address, who owns the equipment, and what the term requires. VoIP Services Now quotes installation separately from service and optional phone rental. Basic service starts at $11.99 per user per month with a 1-year commitment, plus taxes and fees; that seat rate is not a complete installed-system quote.
Two Proposals. One Clear Set of Requirements.
When SpectrumVoIP belongs on your shortlist
SpectrumVoIP bundles phones, professional installation and onboarding in its advertised Everything Plan. That is useful when you want a packaged rollout. Ask for the exact equipment, site work and term in the written proposal.
When to ask us for a quote
You want help turning your call flow into a working office system: who rings first, what happens after hours, which desks need phones and how the numbers move. We can quote onsite installation and check what your building needs before the cutover.

- The complete monthly total, phone models, quantities, ownership and replacement policy.
- A site-by-site list of included installation tasks, training and acceptance tests.
- Exclusions for new cabling, switch changes, paging, analog devices and additional visits.
- The signed initial term, renewal notice, cancellation charges and return obligations.

Prepare First. Transfer After Acceptance.
- Inventory: list numbers, users, sites, phone models and any fax, alarm or paging devices.
- Configure: agree greetings, business hours, call queues, voicemail and device assignments.
- Confirm: match carrier records and wait for an accepted transfer date. Keep old service active.
- Verify: test inbound and outbound calls, caller ID, routing and each device before closing the old account.
Porting dates depend on carrier acceptance. No fixed completion time or zero-downtime guarantee is implied.
What Does Installed Actually Mean in Your Building?
Both providers can discuss installation. A useful proposal identifies the work at each site: placing phones, checking power and switch ports, configuring call routing, training staff and testing after the numbers transfer. New cabling, switch changes and specialist devices should be listed separately if required.
For several locations, ask for the site list, rollout sequence and acceptance checks. An office with ten desks and existing network drops needs a different scope from a warehouse with cordless coverage and overhead paging. We quote the work against those requirements rather than treating every building as identical.
SpectrumVoIP also advertises internet and managed services. If you want a bundle, include that in your evaluation. VoIP Services Now does not sell internet circuits; retain your chosen internet provider and compare phone service on its own terms.

Step 1 — What do you need?
What to settle before you switch
- 1
We review your requirements
Start with users, site locations and the system you have today. You do not need a finished specification to ask for a quote.
- 2
Separate service, equipment and installation
Ask for the recurring plan, optional desk phones, onsite work and applicable fees to be shown separately. Site readiness and devices determine the installation scope.
- 3
Agree the port and installation plan
Contract dates, site access and carrier confirmation shape the target cutover. Keep current service active until the number transfer is confirmed complete.
