About VoIP Services Now:
A Network Company First
Who runs VoIP Services Now?
VoIP Services Now is the business phone service run by SRS Networks, a Salinas, California company operating since 1996. The VoIP Services Now office is at 845 West Market Street, Suite P, Salinas, and serves the Central Coast and South Bay directly; onsite installs elsewhere in the country are done through SRS Networks’ deployment teams. SRS also runs local managed IT and nationwide infrastructure deployment, so it can troubleshoot the network under the phones. Randy Loveless is the founder and CEO. Call (866) 601-3636.
One Company, Three Jobs
Local managed IT
Supports businesses across Salinas and Monterey County — the day-to-day help desk, servers, security, and networks.
srsnetworks.netNationwide deployment
Multi-site infrastructure rollouts for companies putting the same build into dozens or hundreds of locations — cabling, networking, cameras, access control.
srsnetworks.comBusiness phone systems
This site. Hosted voice, onsite install, local support. It exists because the other two kept producing the same conversation: the phone company says the network is at fault, the network company says the phones are, and the customer is holding both bills.
voipservicesnow.comSupporting Phones Is Not the Same as Operating a Phone System
A dealership we work with had outbound calls start failing on one line. The symptom looked like a carrier rejection — a vendor problem, nothing to do with them, nothing an IT provider could fix. The actual cause was a custom dial-out destination leaking the original caller’s caller ID into the outbound INVITE, which the carrier’s anti-spoofing rule was correctly rejecting as caller-ID fraud.
The fix was one line in the dial plan: rewrite the caller ID before the outbound leg. Finding it took three hours of reading SIP traces. No amount of escalating to the carrier would have produced that answer, because from the carrier’s side the rejection was correct.
That is the distinction worth paying for. Plenty of IT firms support phones — they will add an extension, move a handset, reset a voicemail box. Far fewer will read a packet capture at 4pm on a Friday and tell you which line of configuration is wrong. If your phone problems never go past moves and changes, a generalist is genuinely fine. If they do, the difference is the whole job.
What We Will Tell You, Even When It Costs Us the Sale
If your internet is the problem, we will say so.
Including when it means your circuit needs replacing before a phone system is worth buying. It is a worse sales call and a better outcome.
If your existing PBX should stay, we will say so.
SIP trunking into equipment you already own is often cheaper than the system we would rather sell you.
If you do not need the install, we will say so.
A capable in-house team and a simple office is a case where a flat-rate plan from a remote-only provider wins. We would rather lose that deal than install something you did not need.
We will not name our clients.
Not in copy, not in case studies, not as logos on this page. A phone system reveals how a business is staffed and where its sites are. Publishing that is someone else's risk to carry, and they did not agree to it.
When We Are Not Your Best Option
We do not sell internet circuits or mobile phone plans. A business that wants those on the same bill as its phones is better served by a carrier, and we will say so.
We are also not a contact-centre vendor. If you run predictive dialling with agent scripting and workforce management, that is a different category of product and we do not pretend otherwise.
