* Unlimited calling covers the US and many Canadian area codes, one call at a time per user. A second call at the same time on the same user is billed per minute. International calls are billed separately, and inbound calls to your toll-free numbers are billed at market rates. Normal business use only. See Pricing Terms.
Unified communications: calling, video meetings, and texting on one system
Three Things That Are Not a Plan Tier
MaxSIM
Business calls through the phone's own dialer
Make and receive calls and texts on your business number using the mobile's native dialer, over the cellular voice network rather than a data connection. Calls carry your company number without running through an app, so they keep working where data coverage is poor.
Live Answer-Connect
A live receptionist, 24 hours a day
A staffed answering service that picks up your calls around the clock, so a caller reaches a person instead of voicemail outside office hours. Available on any plan.
Custom Number
A number people can remember
A chosen or vanity number in place of whatever the carrier assigns, for businesses that put the number on vehicles, signage, or print where being memorable is worth paying for.
Important Details Behind the Per-User Price
- 1.Federal and state taxes and regulatory fees are added to your monthly invoice.
- 2.Promotional pricing applies to plans with a 1-year commitment purchased through December 30, 2026. Month-to-month plans are billed at the regular rate plus 30%.
- 3.Desk phones are available to rent on plans with a 1-year commitment: $7 per month for a standard phone and $9 for an executive phone. Rented equipment remains the property of VOIP Services Now and must be returned before service is fully cancelled.
- 4.Onsite installation is quoted separately.
- 5.Unlimited calling covers calls to the United States and many Canadian area codes, one call at a time per user. If a user is on more than one call at once, only the first is unlimited and the others are billed per minute. International calls are billed separately, and inbound calls to your toll-free numbers are billed at market rates.
- 6.International calling is switched on by request through support. A $200 deposit may be required as a fraud control.
- 7.The 30-day money-back guarantee covers user fees and fax machine line fees. Premium numbers are not refundable.
- 8.Plans with a 1-year commitment may be cancelled at any time. Service is billed for 90 days from the date of the cancellation request. Month-to-month plans cancel at the end of the billing period.
- 9.We match a competitor's price when we can. A match needs the other provider's written quote for comparable service, covers the per-user service price, and is confirmed in your quote before you order.
- 10.Outbound text messaging requires carrier registration, and US carriers charge fees for it that are billed on to you.
- 11.All plans carry a fair-use policy across voice, text, and video. Usage is expected to stay within normal business levels. Unlimited calling is for normal business conversations, not call centres, sales or support hotlines that take calls in bulk, telemarketing campaigns or high-volume outbound dialling, auto-dialling, call blasting, robocalls, marketing campaigns, or forwarding a number into another phone system without our written agreement. Unusually high usage may be moved to metered billing after notice.
- 12.Business texting is one-to-one. Bulk and automated messaging is available at additional cost.
- 13.Every user can receive faxes. Sending them needs an online fax line, which Plus and Pro include and Basic can add for $4.99 a month.
- 14.A fax machine line, for a physical fax machine or multifunction printer, is $13.99 per line per month, available only with a 1-year commitment, and includes a Grandstream analog adapter, which remains the property of VOIP Services Now and must be returned before service is fully cancelled. It can be bought without any user seats. Faxing on it is unlimited to the United States and many Canadian area codes, for normal business use; international faxing follows the international calling terms. Fax over an internet connection is best effort, so each machine is tested before the line is relied on.
- 15.Porting your existing numbers in carries no port-in fee.
The Cheapest Seat Is Not the Cheapest Phone System
The per-user line is the part everyone compares, and it is rarely what decides the total. The real cost of a business phone system is the install, the network work it turns out to need, and the hours lost when something breaks and nobody can tell you why.
That is where multi-year national contracts do their damage. A five-year term prices in the risk that the service does not work for you, and hands that risk to you. We do not sell one. Cancel a 1-year commitment anytime with 90 days’ notice, or stay month-to-month. You get 30 days to change your mind on user fees, and your numbers port out if you go.
The counter, honestly stated: a tech-savvy single office that self-installs and never needs a truck roll can beat our total cost with a flat-rate national plan. If that is you, buy the national plan. The install and the network accountability are what you are paying us for, and you would not use either.
When We Are Not Your Best Option
If the per-seat price is the only thing you are optimising and you have someone in-house who will rack, provision, and troubleshoot the phones, a flat-rate national provider will land cheaper. That is a real answer, not a negotiating move.
And if you already run an on-prem PBX that works, ask about SIP trunking into it before anyone quotes you seats. Replacing hardware you already own is the most expensive way to fix a carrier bill.
Ten Plus Users, with or Without Ten Standard Desk Phones
Illustrative monthly service with a 1-year commitment: 10 × $15.99 = $159.90. Add ten standard rental phones at $7.00 each for a combined $229.90 per month.
This example excludes taxes, regulatory fees, other add-ons and separately quoted installation. It uses the current published service rate; any live promotion ends on December 30, 2026, after which regular rates apply. App-only users do not need a phone rental. Rented devices remain ours and must be returned on cancellation.
Compare a complete monthly bill and a separate installation scope
A per-user rate is one part of the decision. Use the same user list, equipment choices and contract assumptions when comparing proposals.
- Recurring service
- Count people who need their own line and select the features each role requires. Separate additional numbers, fax lines, recording add-ons and applicable usage charges from user fees. Taxes and regulatory fees are additional.
- Equipment and one-time work
- Identify standard or executive desk-phone rentals with a 1-year commitment, separately quoted specialty equipment and onsite work. Record network corrections, cabling and training only when they are expressly included in the proposal.
- Term and changes
- Compare monthly with a 1-year commitment against month-to-month. Confirm seat changes and any mixed-term arrangement before signing. A 1-year commitment cancels with 90 days’ notice; rented equipment must be returned.
A practical acceptance check
For an illustrative office with eight calling users and five desk phones, calculate eight selected user plans plus five eligible phone rentals. Then add any fax, add-ons, taxes and fees; keep installation as a separate quoted amount. That example is a worksheet, not an installed-price offer.

Step 1 — What do you need?
What to settle before you switch
- 1
We review your requirements
Start with users, site locations and the system you have today. You do not need a finished specification to ask for a quote.
- 2
Separate service, equipment and installation
Ask for the recurring plan, optional desk phones, onsite work and applicable fees to be shown separately. Site readiness and devices determine the installation scope.
- 3
Agree the port and installation plan
Contract dates, site access and carrier confirmation shape the target cutover. Keep current service active until the number transfer is confirmed complete.
